BUNGY - We will eventually bounce back!

Bungy is a support group on the Gold Coast for young people (teens-30's) suffering from ME/CFS. We currently hold bi-monthly support group meetings and a Bungy Newsletter is produced quarterly.

At the moment, we consist of about 25 Bungy members who are there to provide friendship, support and advice for each other.

Knowing how terribly isolating this illness can be, we strive to provide some social interaction through our bi-monthly get-togethers. Plans are always in the works for some fun outings like movie days, picnics and BBQ's.

Often members have bad patches or are bedbound and can't come to the meetings - we hope to provide these members with the same kind of support but through the telephone. Every little bit can sometimes help and a voice on the other end of the line can often mean alot.
